Due to the high risks locally as well as nationally at this time, St Mary’s worship together will now sadly be entirely online until Ash Wednesday at the earliest.  We hope then to offer outdoor worship through Lent as well as continuing online on youtube as well as zoom, but will review and announce by 17th February. From now until Ash Wednesday please see below and more on our website, which we hope will offer you some spiritual, pastoral & community support amidst these difficult times. Please get in touch if you have any other needs, requests, comments: though we can’t be so visibly present, we are here for you.

Welcome and updates….

Please get in touch, and see more on this website too, if you are seeking fellowship, prayer, chat, care, discipleship, worship, support, sharing thoughts, or simply seeking a listening ear. We are delighted that St Mary’s church building remains open every day to visit for peace, prayer, reflection. St Mary’s is open every day, all day, for you.

Within and between all the guidelines and changing times, we continue to evolve as a hybrid inclusive church offering all the chance to join worship in person when we can, or live together via zoom or youtube, on Sundays & Wednesdays except in lockdowns, and via Facebook live on weekdays. Please keep looking back here for updates. The foundational rhythm of daily morning and evening prayer, for others, with others, for ourselves, and for our world, will continue every day including via St Mary’s Facebook live when possible. Please get in touch if you have any prayers requests.

Pastoral care for those isolated, fearful or vulnerable in any way is always a priority, along with prayer and support for all. You are not alone, please be in touch.
If you are seeking practical help with shopping etc, please do contact the parish’s Shalford & Peasmarsh Community Support network, offering mutual support for every member of our community. Just call for support.

As guidelines allow we hope to re-open soon for groups, including the much missed Shalford Parent & Toddler Group, and events to book St Mary’s and also St Michael’s Village Hall Peasmarsh, and to resume and grow fellowship, children’s, young people’s and other social gatherings in person again at St Mary’s. If you would like to book the beautiful St Mary’s church or St Michael’s village hall spaces please get in touch too.

With love and prayers,
Rev’d Sarah
